Sam’s career is a testament to resilience, adaptability, and forward-focused leadership. From enlisting as a Private in the British Army to rising through the ranks to become a Royal Navy Captain, Sam has lived the reality of progression, responsibility, and leading under pressure.
With deployments to Iraq, Afghanistan, Kosovo, the Falklands and NATO operations, Sam has led diverse teams in some of the most complex environments imaginable. Alongside operational leadership, she has chaired promotion boards and worked within the Defence People Team, shaping how leaders are identified, supported, and developed across the UK Armed Forces.
But Sam’s expertise goes beyond the military. She’s also a qualified triathlon coach, scuba instructor, and life coach who has spent years helping people push past perceived limits, reconnect with their purpose, and thrive both professionally and personally.
What makes Sam unique is her ability to translate military precision and resilience into practical, human-centred strategies for business. She knows that real leadership isn’t about authority alone, it’s about clarity, courage, connection, and care for people’s wellbeing.

With over 30 years of leadership experience, Lloyd has built a career on adaptability, problem-solving, and helping people succeed. He began in the Royal Navy as a non-commissioned PTI, later commissioning as a Logistics Officer. That journey gave him a deep understanding of leadership at every level.
Today, Lloyd serves as Head of Fleet for both Dorset Police and Devon and Cornwall Police, where he manages teams, drives operational excellence, and ensures public safety.
